Want to volunteer at NorVA? We can always use help!
Contact Mike Spencer, NorVA Gallery Manager to chat about volunteer opportunities. Here are a few ways you could help out:
Regular Scheduled Day shifts: Volunteer members help to keep the centre open for members of the public from 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00.
Irregularly Scheduled Days and Evenings: Often NorVA offers events like workshops, exhibit openings and classes. Volunteers help promote events and set up and take down chairs, tables etc.
Poster Team: Posting hard copies of ads for events around the Flin Flon, Denare Beach and Cranberry Portage area, sharing posters on social media.
Recycling: Oversight and transport of recycling materials to the Recycling Centre at least once per month or as required. (Interested person might like to educate us all about what can be recycled too!)
Archiving: Hard copies of photos, posters and media print, organized chronologically in a binder for reference. This can be done from home with drop in to NorVA for the hard copy file on a monthly or bimonthly basis
