Noelle moved to Flin Flon to teach elementary school after completing her education in Guelph and Australia. After confirming Flin Flon was an actual city in Northern Manitoba she packed her bags and bid her home province of Ontario goodbye. It didn’t take long to fall in love with the friendly people and artistic opportunities that permeated this picturesque place.
Armed with a 110mm film camera when she was 8, Noelle always enjoyed documenting the scenery and people around her. As her interest grew, so did her size of camera. Although she continues to explore different subject matter, she always has a vested interest in photographing her family, as there are very few photos of her own childhood in her possession (although there are boxes of home videos on VHS somewhere in a dank and gloomy basement.)
Noelle has featured her work at the Orange Toad, has had the opportunity to photograph gorgeous musicians, several in-love couples, and some particularly cute babies. She has been a featured artist at our local Celtic Cabaret and hopes to continue to grow as an artist as a new and excited member of the NorVa Centre.
