What is her story?  A lady with a passion for photography retires from a career spent teaching and counselling children.  She lives in an incredible place -- full of natural wonders like high flying ravens and rock formations as old as the sun.  Full of people with stories and lines etching their skin.  She picks up her camera and shoots, shoots, shoots until the lens becomes an extension of her arm.  She dreams photos, breathes photos, walks and talks photos.
She discovers editing and starts developing a personal style.
A unique photography club -- ‘The Smallest Photography Club In The World’ -- takes her under its wing.  The learning is wild and crazy and she edits, refines, composes in pixels.  Her work becomes an art form.  She sells it, gives it away, displays it, shares it.  It travels to other provinces, to other countries -- connecting her with all kinds of remarkable people, remarkable places, remarkable happenings.

Along comes an Art Centre where she discovers the infectious energy of other artists.  Heather Bishop, Manitoba musician, inspires her with a course full of practical business plans for emerging artists.  She has an ‘aha’ moment when, for the first time, her art hangs in a gallery.

A mentor enters the picture.  Dean Bauche -- Saskatchewan painter.  He refines her approach, challenges her, nudges her -- she moves further along the learning curve.  One day she is invited to contribute her work to a Borealism show taking place in Winnipeg.  She pauses for a moment to look back on all that has happened since she first picked up her camera.  She discovers a fascinating story -- one that keeps moving along.

Another one of Marg's experimental pieces... a photograph adhered to cradle-board, with encaustic wax drizzled over top. Marg's subject holds her image.
